Battery precautions

Do not leave the battery idle for too long, whether in the product equipment or in the warehouse. If the battery has been in use for six months, check the charging status or properly handle the battery.

The service life of lithium-ion batteries is generally two to three years, and they can be charged 300 to 500 times in a cycle. A complete charging cycle refers to a full charge, complete discharge, and then a full charge again.

The lifespan of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries is limited and they will gradually lose their ability to retain charge. This amount of loss (aging) is unchangeable. When the battery loses its capacity, its service life will be reduced (operating time).

When lithium-ion batteries are not in use or idle, they continue to discharge slowly (automatically). It is necessary to frequently check the charging status of the battery. You can also refer to the instructions on how to charge the battery in the user manual.

Observe and record a battery that is not in use but fully charged. Based on the operating time of the new battery, compare it with the battery that has been in operation for a longer time. The battery's operating time will vary depending on the product configuration and application.

Regularly check the battery charging status

When the battery running time drops to approximately 80% lower than the original running time, the battery charging time increases significantly.

If the battery has been idle or unused for a long time, it is necessary to check whether it still has power. If the battery has no remaining power, do not attempt to charge it or use it. A new battery should be replaced. Remove the battery and place it separately.

The battery should be stored at a temperature between 5°C and 20°C (41°F to 68°F).

Note: Replacing batteries of the wrong model poses an explosion risk. Be sure to dispose of used batteries in accordance with the instructions.
